How Does a Vacuum Press Work?

A vacuum press is an airtight machine that closes, and seals shut, once it is locked closed and turned on the press applies pressure, drawing out all of the moisture between the backing board and artwork, and (depending on your press) cold or hot air may be used depending on if you are doing a dry mount (heat) or a wet mount (cold or neutral temperature air).
